Another tiny plant I found today was the Common Chickweed. It's reportedly called "chickweed" because chickens like to eat it. But farmers consider it a weed because it spreads quickly and competes with grains.

Not only can chickens eat it, humans can too, and it's considered a good salad green. And if you make a poultice of it, it's supposed to be good for treating cuts, burns, bruises, and mange.
